BIFF 2015 Music Videos

The selection committee didn’t receive a LOT of entries in the Music Video category. But what DID arrive was an outstanding and eclectic collection of 4 minute masterworks, all worthy of MTV rotation….although you’d never see them there…’cuz MTV doesn’t really play music videos anymore, does it? GOD, take me back to the BIG 80s!!! Anyway, here’s how the music video screenings are going to work:

All the vids will loop for about 20-30 minutes before each feature film screening in every downtown venue that’s showing films for the run of the festival. They’re divided between 2 different disks, so at one venue you will see one group of vids, at another screening you may see the other group. Hopefully, if you’re seeing several films during the festival, you’ll have a chance to view the entire collection. Just show up 20-30 minutes before your feature film begins. It’s a totes bonus!!

Let It Zo:

A tribute to a treasured family pet, this parody of the international hit “Let It Go” from the movie musical sensation “Frozen” was written, recorded and edited by local kids, ages 10 thru 15. The project was inspired by the Student Filmmaker Showcase program at past BIFF festivals (*Note…the Operations Director is sort of partial to this particular music video. I have no idea why.)
