BIFF and New Zion Baptist Church Present “Shrek,” September 6th

The Beloit International Film Festival, in cooperation with New Zion Baptist Church and the First National Bank and Trust Company, continues the BIFF Outdoors summer series on Saturday, September 6th with the Dreamworks classic, “Shrek.” The film is rated PG.

New Zion Baptist ChurchWhen a green ogre called Shrek discovers his swamp has been ‘swamped’ with all sorts of fairytale creatures by the scheming Lord Farquaad, Shrek sets out, with a very loud donkey by his side, to ‘persuade’ Farquaad to give his swamp back. This film is the first installment of one of the most successful animation franchises in motion picture history and a perfect centerpiece for a gathering of friends and family.

NOTE: The rain date for this event will be Sunday, September 7th, same time, same location. The next BIFF Outdoors event will occur on September 26th at Beloit College when the featured film will be “Toy Story 3.”
