A man mysteriously begins waking up in a new European city every time he goes to sleep, putting his addictive and egotistical personality into question.
This movie was created entirely by three filmmakers, Matthew Brdlik, Marcus Aubin, & David Neylon while backpacking around the Schengen zone in May 2019.
Director Statement
I am interested in new worlds and the weird and wonderful characters that reside there. I am hungry for collaborations that broaden my perspective and nourish both the makers and the watchers. I’m interested in grand gestures, poetry, expressionism, fantasy, grit, and hard truths. I am an activist, a feminist, a Southern woman, a former Barbie, an energetic leader, a doodler and a dreamer. I am interested in social justice and learning from those whose histories and inspirations are different from my own.

Marcus Aubin, Matthew Brdlik, and David Neylon are award-winning filmmakers from Chicago, IL. They all have big hearts and dreams. They love to travel, especially with each other. They each bring something different to the table, but through trust, love, and collaboration, have found a way to combine their visions and translate them into what we see here with “Schengen”.
