Sunday, August 24th, 2014
8:15 PM
Pohlman Field, (Telfer Park, 2100 Cranston Rd. Beloit)
“Up” is the story of Carl and Russell and their amazing adventure. By tying thousands of balloons to his home, 78-year-old Carl sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years younger, inadvertently becomes a stowaway. It’s a journey that will capture the imaginations of both young and old, and a perfect film event with which to celebrate the end of a great summer season.
Pohlman Field is the home of the Beloit Snappers, a Class An affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. The BIFF inflatable screen will be positioned on the ball diamond so filmgoers can watch from the ballpark grandstand.
NOTE: The rain date for this event will be Monday, August 25th, same time, same location.
