“Everyone is creative and I love to teach people how to bring forth their own self-expression.”
~ Dave Lundahl
New Light in the Realm of Possibilities
Directed By: Iris Almaraz
Dave Lundahl was an original. He never stopped creating and sharing his complicated and provocative art with the public, whether over late-night animated conversations in town or at New Light Studios at his rebuilt Beloit farm where he died in January. One never knew where Dave’s muse would lead him or what medium he would use to express his ever-evolving, often playful ideas.
A strong supporter of the Beloit International Film Festival, he was also an alumnus of BIFF as a filmmaker. A Beloit College graduate, his work represented all that is innovative about Beloit in exhibitions, galleries and art museums throughout the country.
