The Beloit International Film Festival presents a fantastic opportunity for networking, meeting others in the industry, and exchanging ideas live and in person with people who share the same passions as we do.

But the problem remains – where best to do this?
With much of Beloit closing up early, this has historically presented a problem.
Well, it’s a problem no more!

5 Bar LogoAllow me to introduce you to 5Bar (www.5BAR.co Instagram: @5BAR.co)! Located at 530 Grand Avenue just a block down from our Box Office, 5Bar offers a creative and cozy space, complete with craft cocktails, late-night snacks, a friendly bar pup named Lady, and a staff who will make you feel instantly welcome. And, since it’s open into the wee hours, it is a terrific place for industry talk or any kind of gathering. With many, many funky-comfy sofas scattered around, it is the perfect place to rest your feet after a long day at Beloit’s own walkable film festival!

This year, you’ll be able to view our music video selection at 5Bar on March 4th, followed by a special live show from one of this year’s featured artists! But even outside of that, if you head to 5Bar after each night’s film selections are finished, you’re bound to find some of BIFF’s hometown representatives, well-traveled artists, and other industry familiars unwinding and taking advantage of the relaxed and homey atmosphere to shake off the rush of the day. Come talk about your latest passion project! Make new friends and connections! And did I mention the drinks and snacks? There’s really no way to lose. We’ll see you there!
