Joselito Seldera is an accomplished filmmaker whose projects have been featured by the Sun Valley Film Festival, LA Shorts Film Festival, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Vail Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Filmfest Dresden (Germany), Hollyshorts, and The Documentary Channel.
Before moving to Los Angeles and the world of motion pictures, Joselito studied creative writing at Emerson College in Boston, and writing and improvisation at Chicago’s The Second City and Improv Olympic. He wrote and directed sketch comedy for the Chicago group “The Uncomfortables,” who performed at various festivals and theatres around the Midwest.
Joselito’s recent Directing work includes his first feature film, END OF FALL, the short films NO LOVE SONG (2013) starring Rosanna Arquette and UNSETTLED (2012) his USC thesis film; and the documentary LINES (2011) about three teen skateboarders transitioning into adulthood. His screenplay, RETURN TO MANILA, won the TVWriter.com Spec Scriptacular screenwriting competition in 2004.
Along with writing and developing several feature films, Joselito is currently in post-production on ABOUT ABIGAIL, an anthology feature film on which he is Writer, Producer and Director.
Joselito received his MFA in film production from the University of Southern California, an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College, and a BA in English from Illinois Wesleyan University. He is an instructor at USC’s school of Cinematic Arts.
