Fabrizio’s Initiation
Directed by Mariano Biasin
Narrative Short
Argentina | 17 min | 2015
A small town. Summer in all it’s splendor. Fabrizio is dating Nadia. Both are experiencing the beginnings of adolescence and are ready to have their first sexual encounter. The problem is, they don’t have anywhere to be together. Fabrizio looks for help among his friends. Together they come up with a plan; to buy the neighbor, Don Atilio’s car, which has been out of use for years and abandoned in the street. After great collective effort, they come up with the money that they need.
They bring the car to an isolated field. They transform it into a love-nest with color lights and covered windows. Of course, doing the impossible, so that the adults will never discover it. Something that, sooner or later, will happen.
