Directed by Lucy Lumsden
United Kingdom | 16 min | 2017
This is a coming of age story about a 12 year old girl who lives on a sheep farm in a remote part of Northern Ireland. Every summer her quiet life is interrupted by the local festival which hosts among other events a sheep fashion show.
For the last 16 years Lucy has headed up comedy for BBC and Sky. In 2015 she wrote and directed her first short film Honeysuckle, a drama starring Miriam Margolyes which won the Jury Prize at last year’s Montreal World Film Festival. Most recently Lucy directed Nish Kumar and Trygve Wakenshaw’s Christmas Comedies for Sky.
Lucy has set up Yellow Door Productions, based in London, to develop scripted content for the UK and US, and in April 2016 announced a development deal with ABC Studios.
