The mystery and paranormal lore of disappearances in the Pacific Northwest have long fascinated me, but it’s the concrete and universal connections that exist between family and the generations that tether us together that has truly kept this journey close to my heart. In the pursuit of his grandson from the shadows, our protagonist Jack’s internal compass guides him toward truth, redemption… and ultimately, self-forgiveness—so often the most elusive piece of our personal puzzle.
Rebecca Wahls (she/her) directs and writes for film, theater, and new media. She founded the non-profit theatre Who What Where Productions, where she produced and directed several world premiere plays. Favorite projects include “Golem.AI,” a feature-length found footage horror fable collaboratively developed with Alec Seymour; “this old haunt,” a new musical co-created with Maggie Marie Rodgers and SMJ; and the 50+ plays for children that she wrote and directed with Acting for Young People. Rebecca holds an MFA in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University, where she was a John Wells Fellow from 2020-23. BFA, George Mason University.
