When a 12-year-old boy learns that his father’s beloved piano is stolen, he and his two best friends set out on an exciting, cross-country journey through beautiful Dominican Republic to bring it back home before January 1st.

Born and raised in Costa Rica, Erika Bagnarello obtained her MFA in Film Production at Florida State University where she attended as a Fulbright International Fellow. Her work as a Writer and Director includes two feature documentaries, over 30 television commercials, corporate videos, short films and her first feature narrative film,”January 1st”. She is also a TED Fellow and has participated in numerous international film festivals.
Erika is currently based in Los Angeles, CA where she’s developing her second feature film, a series in short format and is in the middle of post-production for a documentary shot in Costa Rica earlier this year.
