Jonah has an aimless life and a childhood love for Branca. At carnival an unwanted incident leads him to kidnap and hide her inside the whale, the parade’s main float. Throughout the week an intense and delusional love story unfolds while things get tough for Jonah who is not a criminal but has to face the kidnap consequences.

Lô Politi studied Filmmaking, Television and Journalism. She worked as a producer and assistant director in features and shorts for 10 years and as a TV executive producer for 4 years. Since 1998 she’s been working as a director, screenwriter and producer for movies and TV.
She worked for 10 years in Maria Bonita Filmes, which she co-founded, directing commercials, content for TV and executive producing many cultural and entertainment projects.
JONAH is Lo Politi’s first film. SOL, her second feature film, is in pre-production.
