Writer-director based in Tel Aviv. Graduated from the Met Film School (London).

Assaf’s shorts were selected for festivals such as Venice Biennale (2018), Berlinale (2017), Locarno (2016), Sarajevo, BFI London, Palm Springs, Seattle and Raindance. His films have won numerous awards, and were sold for distribution at HBO Europe, ARTE, Mediaset, SBS, SVT, Pacific Voice and Télé-Québec.

An alumni of Locarno’s Filmmakers Academy, and Berlinale Talent’s program, Assaf is now raising funds for his debut feature while developing several projects both for the small and the big screen.
