Luba is a single mom who’s been treading water since her six-year old son was born. When her ex-husband relapses and threatens to engulf her small family in turmoil Luba is thrust into a fight for survival.

CALEY WILSON’S directorial debut, NEGATIVE, which he also produced, and starred in, garnered him an award nomination at the New York Underground Short Film Fest for best actor. Negative also opened across Canada before the award winning (Sundance, SAG, BAFTA) hit film THE STATION AGENT.

From 2000 – 2003 Caley lived in Los Angeles where he worked both behind and in front of the camera in multiple capacities: 1st AD-ing; and crewing on numerous films, such as BY DAWN’S EARLY LIGHT, CRUEL INTENTIONS 2.

Caley returned to Toronto and his next short,THE GANGSTER, played at the San Francisco Children’s Film Festival as well as the San Diego Short Film Festival.

Vladimir is known around the world for his portrayal of Garret Jacob Hobbs on NBC’s hit series Hannibal and is a regular guest at “Fannibal” conventions in North America and Europe. Vladimir has appeared in over 40 television shows and films including: Designated Survivor; In Contempt; Covert Affairs; Hollywoodland and Beauty & The Beast.

In the last year Vladimir was featured in 3 films that premiered at the biggest film festivals in North America: Stockholm with Ethan Hawke & Noomi Rapace (TRIBECA); Kodachrome with Ed Harris & Jason Sudeikis (TIFF); and Luba (CINEQUEST and Michael Moore’s TRAVERSE CITY FILM FESTIVAL).

Vladimir founded stage production company Zocalo Toronto, writing and producing three original works between 2007 and 2012 including Samkon and Francis Go Swimming; Flin Flonning; and The Weeping Salsa, a dance-­‐drama hybrid in which he also starred.

Luba is Vladimir’s debut as a feature writer and producer.
