Joey Ally is a writer and director, a New Yorker who lives in Los Angeles. Her films MINIMUM WAGE and PARTNERS have screened at the Sundance Film Festival, Aspen ShortsFest, LA Film Festival, Lunafest, NBCUniversal Film Festival, etc. and been featured in Indiewire, The Hollywood Reporter, HelloGiggles, etc. – PARTNERS debuted online this fall with Vimeo Premieres, hitting 250k+ views in it’s first week. She is a member of the 2016 class of the American Film Institute Directing Workshop for Women, was one of 5 female filmmakers chosen for the 2016 Tribeca/Chanel “Through Her Lens” program, and was the recipient of “Video of the Year 2015” at WME|IMG. Joey lives in Silverlake, sings at the Dresden, longs for a dog, and is developing several projects through her company SilverOx Pictures (www.silveroxpictures.com).
