Three strangers go on a journey to honor their life-loving friend, who died at 23, by exploring a list of his favorite things to do in his hometown of San Francisco.

Jesse Swedlund (co-director/producer), 25, has been making films since he was a child. Before Ty’s List, Jesse had held a variety of positions on student film sets, ranging from Director of Photography to Editor and Director. In the summer, Jesse works for Outward Bound leading canoeing expeditions for teens in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota. Jesse is currently spending his winter in Jackson, Wyoming teaching children how to ski. He dreams of climbing mountains, making more documentaries, and exploring all the beauty life has to offer.

Ben Prawer, 26, has been interested in human stories since completing a rigorous and selective internship at the Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles. Ben tends to lean toward business development (partnerships, strategy, distribution, finances, marketing, etc.) for Ty’s List. He recently crossed off a major line item of his bucket list in an effort to live life to the fullest– taking an extended trip all over Southeast Asia. Ben graduated from Northwestern University in 2012 with a B.A in Communication Studies. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
