Inspired by his father’s military service, Bill joins the United States Marines. From growing up on the Pine Ridge Reservation to helicoptering through the Philippians, Bill Smith lived a life of pride.

Tessa Appelgren is a 2021 graduate of Harlem High School. During her Senior year she directed and edited “William Smith – A Warrior in Time.” She currently is attending Rock Valley College hoping to become a physical therapist assistant.
