BIFF Board member Brenda Gould, Area General Manager for Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites Beloit, along with Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Aimee Thurner are planning the first major event of BIFF 2020 with the annual REVEAL party at the Hampton Inn.
Aimee Thurner | GBCC Executive Director
This Chamber “Business After Hours” party will offer some previews of the 2020 season along with light appetizers, beer and wine. Admission is $5 and is Free for Film Society members showing their lanyard pass.
That printed schedule, which includes background on all the films and special events, will be released to the public. The party will include a chance to hear from those who have been screening and programming the 100 films in this year’s BIFF. Trailers for many of the films will also be shown.
Many in the community particularly appreciate the program book to familiarize themselves about the films and special events as they start to put together their viewing choices.
The BIFF2020 program book is designed by Mary Terry and is printed by the Beloit Daily News. It will be distributed to and available at many locations throughout Rock County and broader stateline area in the days following this event.
Tonight is the night we’re introduced to all the special announcements about the upcoming festival. Enjoy a little behind the scenes detail on the many films and events to be presented this year. BIFF Executive Director Greg Gerard will fill us in on all the special announcements, what’s new for this year, who will be attending and more.
Finally, all this in the company and conversation of your expanding circle of friends, neighbors, festival volunteers and guests to our community, all of whom share the excitement of the Beloit International Film Festival.
We’re building community here.
