There is something very empowering about getting your hands on the Beloit International Film Festival printed program, and that moment is almost here.

Join friends and colleagues Feb. 9 at Beloit’s Hampton Inn for the BIFF Reveal Party and the release of the Beloit Daily News official printed program for BIFF 2023. Details of the ten-day festival, Feb. 24 to March 5, including times, locations and descriptions of more than 100 great films, special events and workshops are all there.

Part of the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours series, the Reveal party starts at 5 p.m. with drinks, food, film previews, and free ticket giveaways. Co-sponsored by, G5 Brewing Company and Walnut Creek Apparel & Gifts, tickets are $5 and the event is free to Beloit Film Society members. Special guests will help with planning how to get the most out of Beloit’s “Walkable Film Festival.” Honorary chair, Canadian filmmaker Gavin Michael Booth, will make an appearance via video.

“We are still working on a thousand last minute details but the the annual Reveal Party marks the start of the fun for all of us,” says Lindsay Mitchell, president of the BIFF board. “It is great to be able to celebrate together this year with our wonderful supporters in the Greater Beloit business community.”

The party runs from 5-7 p.m. at the Hampton Inn at 2700 Cranston Rd. in Beloit.

Thank you to our event sponsors!

The Beloit International Film Festival this year marks its 18th season as the region’s major international cultural event. BIFF is generously sponsored by the Hendricks Family Foundation and Visit Beloit in association with Beloit College. Support for the Festival comes from area businesses and civic organizations, and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. Critical individual support for BIFF is provided through gifts and membership in the BIFF Film Society of Beloit.
