This was inspired by U.S. “mental hygiene” propaganda films of the 50’s. We love DV’s versatility and saw this as a chance to make new colour DV look like old scratched and spliced black and white high-contrast film. It satirizes the resurgence of 50’s Cold War style paranoia in the world’s culture of fear.
