Director Statement
A collaboration of neighbours. When I moved to Los Angeles to advance my film career I said to myself “I want to meet people to collaborate with”. I didn’t imagine that meant I would find nearly an entire film production team in my neighbours. A writer/producer, actors, sound crew, camera assistant and grips… we came together from our seven apartments into one for a night of filmmaking. This is the result.
Ryan’s script of a man’s decent into his own dangerous obsessions was exciting to me. I wanted to find a way to use sound design and disjointed visual moments to help the audience feel his struggle and experience what is happening in his head on the regular.
