The inhabitants of Saadet Apartment are about to get a lesson in grass roots revolution.

A group of women who have become numb to the pain in their lives welcome a new tenant into the building. Little do they know that the heartbroken Eylem will change their lives forever.

When she bought her new flat, the young psychotherapist Eylem never imagined that she would move in under such circumstances. The dream of setting up house with her handsome fiancé Okan and embarking on a life of personal and professional happiness has turned into the nightmare of being dumped two weeks before the wedding and sliding into emotional and financial despair.

Furthermore, her new neighbors are hellbent on depriving her of that most basic human right: suffering depression in peace.

In attempting to coax her out of her gloom, they instead get dragged into her life and in turn end up questioning their own.

A spinster who has devoted her life to her bedridden father, a one-time singer caught in a dead-end relationship, a housewife resigned to daily beatings at the hands of her husband, her teenage daughter who watches on helplessly, and a hairdresser who tends to look at things on the bright side… They will join Eylem as she orchestrates a simple act of resistance.

Their one unwavering principle: ‘To oppose all forms of violence!’
