A struggling children’s book writer named Harold Finch. At his lowest point Harold gains an unexpected house guest in the form of an ageing hyper-intelligent mosquito named Anabel. Anabel has literally been the fly on the wall throughout history, but has never managed to communicate with a human being. One failed attempt after another to get through to Harold leaves Anabel weak and desperate. In a final bid to have her story heard, Anabel will teach Harold that the smallest voice can make the biggest noise.

Upon graduating from The National Film School, IADT (BA Film and Video) Vincent received the inaugural NFS/Filmbase Award for Outstanding Contribution to Filmmaking. Vincent specialized in Directing and Cinematography, winning awards at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival and the Best Drama Award for his graduation film, Bright Idea at both the Irish and U.K. Royal Television Society. On the strength of his directing work Vincent was accepted to the Berlin Talent Campus during his final year at NFS.

Since leaving film school Vincent has directed a number of short films, An Cosc (Lasair, Filmbase/TG4) has screened at many festivals worldwide and won Best In Festival at the Corona Fastnet Film Festival. Crossword (Filmbase/RTE) premiered at Galway Film Fleadh, which has won the Best Film award at the Waterford Film Festival, the Audience Award at Tokyo Short Shorts, Most Inspirational Film at Life Tree Festival, and both Best Int. Short and the Audience Award at the Edmonton Film Festival, Canada. Irish Film Board funded SIGNS won Best First Animation at the Galway Film Fleadh and Best Animation at the Sub Traveling Festival Barcelona as well as having screened at many festivals across Europe and Asia.

Vincent won the Best new Director award at the Kinsale Shark Advertising Awards 2011 as well as Best Music Video Director at the 2011 IMTV awards and is currently working as a commercials director, EPK producer, as well as developing projects for film and television including Storyland: Burning Wishes (RTE/IFB) for Deadpan Pictures for which he won Best Director in the 2015 San Francisco Web Fest.

Those memories might need more help. This is the story of one of those memories stuck in this world. His name is Moom.

It is also the creator of the project “Sketch Travel” that 71 artists have painted in a sketchbook and turned around the world.

Whether directing work for brands such as Popcap, Marvel, Build-A-Bear and AT&T, or creating his own projects, like the animated short film Love in the Time of Advertising, he lives to bring characters to life on set and on the computer.

He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has lived and worked in Los Angeles for more than 10 years.

Janette Goodey was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. She spent her childhood testing out the possibilities of every coloured crayon, taking school projects further than necessary, stitching, gluing, adding blue food colouring to cooking experiments. Janette studied at Unitec, Auckland where she completed a Diploma in Design majoring in Painting, and returned in 2006 to study for a Graduate Diploma of Design (Animation). Her film “Rip, Drip Tear”( 2010, 4mins ) played at many international festivals and won an ATOM award for best experimental short in 2011.

ohn has a passion for animation, visual effects and puppetry. He regularly steps between handmade in camera techniques and digital solutions. He also likes to stick his fingers into every part of production.

John has directed and animated several short stop motion animations including; The Birdhouse (2005, 5mins), The Boy Who Wanted to Touch the Moon (2006, 4mins), and The Designer (2007, 8mins – Winner Best Short FIFE 2007 and Best Concept at the 9th Lucania Film Festival.) He was also an animator on Mary and Max by Oscar winner Adam Elliot.

His latest film “The Story of Percival Pilts” has won several awards, including Best Animation at the Oscar qualifying Foyle Film Festival, and has also received an international theatrical release as part of The Animation Show of Shows. John has presented this film and done Q&As at several big studios and companies such as Apple, Disney, DreamWorks, and Pixar (twice)
