With each member bringing there own unique style, San Juan Project’s musical concept has been winning over the local scene of Guadalajara since there start, and through there explosive live shows they have been captivating audiences throughout the country.

With there roots based in jazz, they layer there sound with electronic, hip hop, soul and funk influences, creating a lively mix for almost any audience. And with there talent for freestyle improvisation, your almost always guaranteed to see a surprisingly unique live show, which connects the band with the audience in an unmistakable way.

Cracked.comAmerica’s only humor site since 1958 is coming to Beloit! The Comedians from Cracked.com are bringing a feature film called “Kill Me Now” and a short film called “Drama Queen” to BIFF!

After their screenings on Friday the comedic troupe will perform an hour of sketch comedy that is sure to leave you laughing.

He seems nonplussed by this turn of events, though chagrined. From there, things play out pretty much as you’d expect, except for the bit at the end about the pot farm. A Those Aren’t Muskets! sketch!

In the ancient cobblestone streets of Cuzco, Peru, 12-year-old Pablo sells postcards to tourists in the main plaza while his brother Jano, supports the family through petty street crime. Pablo questions his world when he encounters Mary, who unbeknownst to him is the daughter of an American businessman planning to develop a hotel on the land where his family lives.

When told they will be forced to leave the only home they”ve known, Jano swears vengeance and convinces his younger brother to help him rob the American father.! In the fathers” wallet Pablo discovers a photo of Mary.! Troubled by his actions, Pablo searches the city for Mary to ease his guilt and return the stolen wallet.!

After finding Mary, Pablo convinces her to sneak away with him to explore the Inca ruins.! Mary”s distraught parents return to the hotel after losing her, only to discover Elizabeth in bed with Jano.! Mary”s father quickly recognizes Jano as the thug who robbed him.! After a scuffle, Mary appears in the hotel room with her father”s returned wallet.! As the American family leaves Cuzco and the Peruvian family leaves their home, both are forever changed.

Boris, un particular titiritero de sombras, no tiene el coraje para decidirse por Clara, la mujer que ama. Y él no es el único enamorado: su sombra también lo está, de la sombra de Clara, claro está. Cuando la sombra de Boris se percata de que Clara – harta de la timidez de Boris – por fin lo manda a la porra, se revela con su originador.

Presented in partnership with the Beloit Public Library, this is a unique and highly rewarding new film challenge for young adults, the results of which will be screened on the Saturday of BIFF at the Beloit Public Library, Feb. 18th.
